The new Godox P600Bi is a 1×1 panel that's both compact and light, yet packed with 650W of output power. Whether you’re using the warmest light setting or the coolest, you’ll always get 650W of power with no drop in the middle as many other lights have. Due to top-level engineering, it has a focus optical lens which significantly intensifies the light through a mirror array. This helps with long distance illumination and a long throw of around a 40-degree beam. This acts as an efficient and flexible solution for lighting large spaces such as soundstages, studios, event spaces, and photography studios.

With CRI and TLCI ratings of over 96, the P600Bi ensures accurate, true-to-life color rendering at any color temperature. Not only that, but the P600Bi allows smooth and delicate dimming in 0.1% increments, from 0% to 100%. In addition, the flicker-free capability always ensures stunning footage even when shooting in slow motion.

The fixture includes a U-Type Bracket for easy mounting on light stands. Tying and safety ropes are included for additional protection along with a hook for grid mounting or overhead mounting. The U-Type Bracket allows for easy swivel and tilt adjustments whether on a light stand or when connected to the Junior Offset Arm (2-light array) and Junior Multi-Header (4-light array).

Right away, you’ll notice two large yellow handles on the top and bottom of the unit. These handles help with easy transport and safe adjustments after the light is in use. Since 650W output creates a considerable amount of heat, the three air ducts located underneath the fixture are designed to dissipate it. The three internal fans keep it cool. To ensure accurate and efficient lighting during long production hours, the P600Bi employs aerospace-grade material for the thermal pad, guaranteeing stable performance for the fixture even when running at full output for long periods of time.

The P600Bi allows for DMX512 control, LumenRadio CRMX due to its built-in receiver, 2.4G wireless remote control, and full control via the Godox App. The DMX terminator, external antennas, and automatic frequency hopping capability always ensure stability even in noisy signal environments.

Intuitive on-board controls include a power switch, bright LCD screen, setting dial that adjusts intensity in .1% increments for quick adjustment, wired connections for DMX in/out, AC power supply port, and four menu buttons — Preset, Menu, Lock, and Mode.

An optional V Mount plate allows for powering the P600Bi with a few V Mount batteries. On the back of the panel, you’ll also find a USB-A port for future firmware updates that will include any bug fixes and additional functions. In the menu settings, you can utilize 11 built-in FX for simulating common lighting scenarios that help bring realism to your scene. Some of these FX include: Flash, Storm, Cloudy, Television, Fireworks, Welding, and more.
